I'm on a trip with 18 other students and 3 professors, literally traveling around the world to examine the different biomes: boreal forest, coral reef, tropical rainforest, tropical savannah, desert, and so on. We start in Juneau, Alaska, go to Maui, and from there to Thailand, India, the Maldives, back to India, Tanzania, Egypt, Turkey, Germany, Norway, back to Germany. 12-13 weeks all told.
